Your dog will give you be best of his life if you give him the best to live. It is very difficult saying good-bye to your dog in the end, as they have become part of the family and in most houses treated like a family member. You end up asking yourself if there was any thing more you could have done to prolong or make their life on earth better.
So how long do dogs live, and how can we prolong their lives?
Any veterinarian will tell you that generally smaller dogs will always out live bigger dogs. On average a small to medium dog of around 5-10kg can easily live to around 16 years.
