Nose print of a dog is as unique as a humans finger print. It can be used to identify them. So next time your dog runs away or you lose him, keep a nose print handy.
2. Vision
Dogs do not see as far as humans do but their night vision is better. They are able to detect motion and sight objects much better than humans during night hours.
3. Temperatures
Body temperature of dogs are much higher than human body temperatures. They have sweat glands only in their foot pads. As a result, they don’t perspire. Thus, when kept in closed rooms or cars or on very hot days, their body temperature seem warmer than usual.
4. Sound and Smell
A dog’s sense of smell is said to be very sensitive as compared to those of human beings. Also, they can hear sounds from much longer distances. They can also identify the direction from where the sound originates.
5. Alone Time
You might not know but it is completely okay to leave your dog alone for a while. What he does in his alone time varies for each dog, but it’s not to fret over if you have an urgent appointment and have to leave him. 3 hours for a puppy and 6 hours for a dog are completely safe bets.
6 Dangerous play
Your dog or pup might enjoy chasing his wagging tail, but be careful, as this might just result in a back injury. So that he does not indulge into such acts, distract him with other activities such as, throw a ball and ask him to fetch it.
7. Leftovers
Do not feed your dogs with left over bones as it may cause diarrhea. Also, it may result in choking, due to which the dog might have to be operated.
